2006: Played in 10 of the 12 games and finished with 24 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss and one forced fumble.

Won the Travis Spring Most Outstanding Freshman (defense) award

2007: Struggled with a knee injury most of sophomore season in 2007, but still managed to start four games while posting 52 tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss and three passes defensed.

Also received Honorable Mention Academic All-Pac 10 honors in 2007.
