| Was 212-for-360 yards (59%) for 3,358 yards, throwing 32 touchdown passes to eight interceptions, helping the Eagles to the CIF-SS Quarterfinals. Five times Griffin threw for over 300 yards, including 352 against state champ Canyon and he also threw five touchdown passes against Lynwood. Also rushed for three scores; he benches 220 pounds, squats 320.
He reports a 3.7 core GPA and is taking the SAT on May 5.
Griffin: "I'm smart and have a good knowledge of the game. I also can make all the throws and make the big plays. I'm a great leader.
"I need to work on my speed and especially throwing on the run. I want to fine-tune my game and work on selling my fakes better. Stuff like that."
