| Biography: |
| Sophomore first baseman was a pleasant surprise during the final month of 2006. Didn't make first career start until May 12th and then excelled as #2 hitter and DH during stretch run. In 45 at-bats, hit .422 with one double, no home runs, and eight RBI. Line drive stroke from the left side of the plate with developing power. Expected to back-up at first base in 2007 while again seeing significant action as a designated hitter and top left-handed bat off the bench. |
