| After serving as a backup to Mike Patterson at nose tackle as a redshirt freshman, Sedrick Ellis had a dominating spring practice session and grabbed hold of the position last season. He put together an outstanding season, totaling 50 tackles, 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble. With a year of experience under his belt, Ellis should come out firing yet again this season and help form a very solid defensive line. He has shown outstanding speed and technique and should put up great numbers and performances in the coming season.
