| Biography: |
| Edwards was the #1 quarterback in the nation coming out of Los Gatos High School in the South Bay, and the expectations have been sky high for him ever since at Stanford as the "Next Elway." After redshirting his first year on The Farm, the golden boy broke out in his first ever college action with a 278-yard, two-touchdown performance in the 2003 opener against San Jose State. He was spotty in follow-up performances and later lost his starting job. An end-game injury against Cal (quadracep hematoma) finished off his season. Now the clear-cut starter with no senior's shadow hanging over him, Edwards is blossoming into the quarterback everyone thought he would be. Great mechanics and high accuracy are hallmarks of the next legend at Quarterback U. |
