| Lorig's final SR (11-1-1) stats: he caught 18 balls for 385 yds and 5 TDs; also had 135 tackles, 4 picks (1 for TD) and had 7 sacks on defense.
He reports a 3.8 GPA/1130 SAT--no retake.
Lorig: "My soph year I started on varsity as a DE, but then last year they moved me to LB (123 tackles)," said Lorig. "I know I definitely won't play LB in college, but this year I'm still going to be playing ILB in a 5-2 defense.
"We run a two TE option on offense--Peninsula's always run the ball a lot--so I only got about 20 catches last year.
"I'm looking for a strong coaching staff with a lot of power and emotion. I want tradition. I don't mind joining a team that's building itself back up. I don't have to jump into a national championship situation. Location doesn't matter. I don't have a timetable for making up my mind."
