| If Stanford puts him on offense, he could be a bigger version of Alex Smith. That promise at tight end is exciting, but the need for Stanford on defense may be more compelling in 2004. Egboh is big and physical and will carry so much more weight. But do not expect too much out of him too fast at defensive end, where he did not even practice the spring leading into his senior year. Whichever side of the ball he plays on The Farm, look for him to grow into a big, athletic lineman. He could be a DT or an OT by the time he hits his third year at Stanford. |
