We wondered what kind of team would show up after Stanford's two-week break for winter quarter exams. The answer was revealed Saturday in an awful 6-0 loss at home to Sacramento State. An unheralded Hornets pitcher was able to throw a complete game shutout against the Cardinal hitters, while Stanford's staff gave up 13 hits. This is not the way to start the spring.
