First work defensively for Sorgi this season		By Joe Ritzo Senior Baseball Editor Date: Mar 4, 2007 Sunday was a good day for the Cardinal baseball team. Stanford completed the sweep of California with a 9-7 victory thanks to a 13-hit offensive attack and some impressive work from the bullpen. The win extended the Cardinal's winning streak to eight games and was the 2,500th in the program's history. Meanwhile, an injured player returned to the field for the first time in over a year.
