Despite having few available arms at their disposal and playing the day after a 15-inning marathon, the Cardinal managed a narrow 5-4 victory over Sacramento State on Wednesday afternoon. On a warm day at Hornet Field, two Stanford relievers combined to silence the Sac State bats over the final six frames while Brian Juhl delivered the biggest hit of the game at the plate.
