The Bootleg has learned that after a week of reacting to the unceremonious flight by Tyrone Willingham, and a week of searching and interviewing candidates, Stanford today has named Buddy Teevens the new head coach of the football program. Teevens was the tight ends coach and assistant offensive coordinator under Steve Spurrier this past fall.
