The reason Stanford fans have been uneasy about this U$C game for weeks, if not months, has been the matchup of the Cardinal offense against the Trojan defense. There are objective reasons to believe the Stanford "D" can make enough plays and stops to keep this game in reach, but only if the "O" can open up and grab chunks of yardage. That indeed has been a focus these last two weeks for the Stanford offense...
