Barnes' D.C. Stint Ends Early

PG Julius Barnes		By Scott Allen Date: Jul 16, 2003 After recently graduated Stanford point guard Julius Barnes did not make the cut in this year's NBA Draft, all signs pointed to his spending the summer with the Golden State Warriors in their summer league. Instead, he found himself across the country with the Washington Wizards, who are in dire need of a PG. The former Cardinal gained brief but valuable experience at the mini-camp before being cut this week.
