Filling need, '11 DT Hayes commits to Card

Let's face it: some people are natural optimists, some natural pessimists, and that's true among Stanford fans too. The optimistic Stanford fans looked at the 2011 class and saw 11 commits by May, with their recruiting profiles poised to make the Cardinal competitive for a top-15 class.

The pessimists saw a positional imbalance, with a plethora of commits at relatively well-stocked positions, running back in particular, and too few at positions of need, particularly defensive tackle.
