choice, but you will not be awarded bonus points]
The
Prizes:
1.) "Bragging rights" to your friends, loved ones,
neighbors, co-workers....and most importantly, to the other former players who
did not have the ability/courage/desire to attempt to pass the Stanford Football
Conditioning Challenge.
2.) To all competitors....meaning you
attempt to pass this conditioning challenge.....you
will be automatically awarded one sideline pass for one home game of your
choice:
San Jose State - Sept 19
Washington - Sept
26
UCLA - Oct 3
Arizona State - Oct 24
Oregon - Nov
7
Cal - Nov 21
Notre Dame - Nov 28
Please note that there is a
limited number of sideline passes available, and that those who pass
the conditioning test will be given first pick.
3.) To all
competitors, a DVD copy of your conditioning performance, courtesy of Mike
Gleeson. Something you will cherish for years and years to come.....and for
liability reasons, we are forced to tape.
4.) To the competitors
who do actually pass the test (meaning you made EACH
and EVERY time minimum for each run), you will be awarded one pair of the
2009 Stanford Football Nike Travel Sweats (top and
bottom)....which Jon Haskins has personally seen and reports are
quite nice this year as compared to last year's marginal model.
5.) To the Ultimate
Winner....the single person who finishes first in the 4th Quarter -
300-yard shuttle, they will be able to travel with the Stanford Football Team to
an away game of their choice on the team charter plane (JetBlue), stay at the
team hotel, eat with the team, be on the sidelines with the team, and come back
to Stanford victorious after we conquer one of the following opponents:
Washington State - Sept.
5
Wake Forest - Sept 12
Oregon State - Oct. 10
Arizona -
Oct. 17
USC - Nov. 14
Just to note....last year’s
Overall Winner was former QB Chad Hutchinson.
Also there is an optional
game of "Peru" Ball....if you are not completely exhausted at the conclusion of
the Conditioning Test and dinner with the team.
Good luck and
please RSVP ASAP to:
