A late, but unfortunately not "lame" Duck drive culminated in a 35-28 comeback win for Oregon over our beloved Stanford Cardinal, which gave a game if less than overwhelming performance against a strong-running Duck squad that logged more than 300 yards on the ground for the day.

Close, But Not Enough Giving a solid effort, but failing to take advantage of numerous Duck turnovers (some of which had to be kharmic retribution for an even more hideous home uniform than Gang Green usually displays), the drenched Cardinal defense was inadequately stout at the end of a rain-soaked squabble, dropping a heartbreaker in Eugene by the score of 35-28.
