The younger brother of Notre Dame tight end Konrad Reuland is certainly a different player, as evidenced in Scout.com's more than six minutes of highlights from the junior season of Warren Reuland. Warren has similar size but greater athleticism, allowing him to stretch the field in the vertical passing game. He takes shorter passes frequently in the Diablos' offense and makes defenders miss. At 6'5", he also allows his quarterback to throw high, where the younger Reuland goes over defenders to snare the ball.
"Reuland is an excellent receiver and catches the ball well," offers Scout.com California recruiting analyst Brandon Huffman. "While he's not the fastest guy out there, he has good size for a receiver. He does a good job of getting open and making catches. Reuland is a gritty player, and he can make the tough catch."
The Mission Viejo (Calif.) High School junior wideout has an early favorites list that includes Notre Dame, Stanford, USC, UCLA, Cal, Oregon, Boston College, Ohio State and Miami (FL) as his favorites. He picked up his first offer two weeks ago from Stanford.
