Unranked in the Baseball America preseason poll for the first time ever, the Cardinal baseball team didn't play the part this weekend. On Sunday, it was a 6-3 victory over the 5th ranked Cal State Fullerton Titans to complete the three-game sweep. Two freshmen pitchers excelled in the late innings to perserve the win while a pair of returning hitters each blasted home runs.
