Head Coach Trent Johnson
On the final game for Rob Little and Nick Robinson:
"Give credit where credit's due. I just feel bad for the seniors.
For me personally, I wish I could have been around these guys for four years."
On the technical foul:
"We like to be aggressive under the basket. The officials had nothing to
do with the game. Mississippi State was better all around."
On taking credit for wins and losses:
"We didn't play well, and that starts with me."
On what he'll remember most about this season:
"This is my sixth year as a head coach. I always evaluate myself first and
foremost. Reflection is not something that happens in a day or two.
For the guys coming back, we have a lot of work to do. I'm just thankful
to have a job and to have the opportunity to coach."
Junior Matt Haryasz
"I don't know what happened out there. It just kind of fell apart...
We missed some shots. If you don't perform, you lose, and they did a good
job tonight."
"I'm real proud of these guys. It's tough for it to end like this, but
I'm proud of the way we fought."
Fifth-year Senior Nick Robinson
"This team accomplished a lot. Everyone in the country is working
toward [a national championship] and we fell short."
"We had a great season. As for as the Tournament goes, we didn't
accomplish anything."
Redshirt Junior Chris Hernandez
"It all came at us at once and kind of buried us. We could not recover.
Getting beat that bad is embarrassing."
