Kibbles & Bits makes its triumphant return to the Booty. The season debut of this feature looks at Stanford's performance over the past couple of years, as well as some milestones for Kerry Carter and Mike Biselli.

Dating back to last season:

• When Stanford scores first, their record is 4-3.  When the opponent scores first, Stanford is 2-3.
• The Boston College game was the third straight in which special teams blocked and/or returned a punt for a TD.
• The Cardinal have scored at least 4 TD's in six straight games.
• Stanford has averaged 25.0 ppg.  The opponents have averaged 23.8 ppg
• The Card are 4-2 when outrushing their opponent and 2-4 when they are outrushed.
• When Stanford has more takeaways than their opponent, they stand at 5-1. When they turn the ball over more, they have a mark of 1-4.  When the turnovers are equal, they are 0-1.
• Stanford is 6-1 when both Randy Fasani and Chris Lewis take snaps in the same game.

Since 1999:

• Stanford is 9-4 at home, 5-5 on the road and 0-1 in bowl games.
• The Card are 3-4 against ranked opponents.

Individual Achievements:

• Cutter's 13th rushing TD of his career moved him into a 7th place tie with Glyn Milburn on Stanford's all time rushing TD list.  He stands 3 behind 6th place Bill Tarr but a staggering 24 behind Touchdown Tommy.
• Thunderfoot's 80th career PAT vaulted him into 6th place all time in that category.  He needs 46 more to tie Eric Abrams for first place, so we better average 5 TD's a game.

Miscellaneous:

• Stanford hasn't had a 200 yard rusher since John Volpe scampered for 220 vs. Washington in 1988.
• This weeks opponent, ASU, surrendered 693 yards (581 of those through the air) to Stanford in their 1981 meeting, a Cardinal record for most yards (and passing yards) in a game and an ASU record for most yards allowed.
• Sadly, the inverse of the above is true.  In that same game, ASU scorched the Card "D" for 743 yards, setting the high mark for them and a low mark for us.
