Usua Amanam and Ronnie Harris celebrate vs ASU

Stanford already has more wins versus FBS competition than any other program in the country this decade. Saturday is another golden opportunity for the program to build onto its recent legacy. All our comprehensive Pac-12 Championship preview material is here. Be sure to listen to all of the most in-depth Stanford football podcast presentation there is.

This Saturday, Stanford's core of fifth year seniors has a monumental opportunity to further decorate a sensational legacy. The Cardinal already own the most wins over FBS competition (44) this decade, two more than Alabama, Boise State, and Oregon (42). Now, the Farm Boys have an opportunity to capture another Pac-12 Championship and Rose Bowl appearance.

This time, they'll have to do it away from the comforts of Stanford Stadium. Arizona State is the formidable opponent in the Desert, but the Cardinal have already handled the Sun Devils this year. A sea of stormtrooper white will fill the field in front of 70,000 maroon and gold-clad fans in Tempe on Saturday, looking to put prior road nightmares to rest with self-described "intellectual brutality."

This is another epic opportunity for Stanford football in an age that has already featured plenty of them. We've tracked the build-up to this game closely, so be sure to read all of our coverage before Saturday's kick-off. State of Stanford gives a thorough look into the condition of the team as it tries to exorcise its road demons this week. Troy Clardy's column 'Moment of Truth' puts this rematch with the Sun Devils into perspective. How to Beat Arizona State breaks down the formula that can lead Stanford to victory. Know Your Foe is an examination of how the Sun Devils have changed since the September 21 contest in the Bay Area.
