First Tour: New Stanford Football Facility

A familiar face in the new facility

The Bootleg toured Stanford football's new facility Thursday. The new locker rooms, lounges, and offices are beautiful. But the hall of fame feel to the place, complete with gigantic wall photographs and quotes, makes it something to see. Here are some pictures.

The Bootleg toured Stanford's new 27,000 square foot facility. Here are some highlights. Keep in mind that the athletic performance center, which will include a spot for Stanford's groundbreaking concussion study innovations, is not yet open. The fire marshal gave coaches the green light to begin moving in at 11 a.m. Thursday. Stanford built this facility on a $21 million budget.

I should also note that Tommy Vardell was a big contributor. There is a room called the "Andrew Luck Auditorium," though Luck did not pay to put his name on that specific room. Another benefactor gifted that.
