As the calendar hit a new decade infused with mullet haircuts, Fly Girls and a regrouping Stanford team with four new starters, Pauley Pavilion still held sway over opponents.

Despite being 15 years and six coaches removed from the John Wooden glory years, the Bruins owned a 90 percent all-time winning percentage at Pauley heading into a late February showdown with a team that had never won there.
