Radio: Taboada Talks Shaw's Appeal, Visit

As a former Stanford student-athlete, head football coach David Shaw is able to make a unique connection with his football recruits. Atlanta native Greg Taboada, who visited The Farm this weekend, shares his insights on Shaw's appeal and his Bay Area official visit in this radio interview.

The best part of Greg Taboada's Stanford official visit came Friday night at Palo Alto's Sundance Steakhouse, where David Shaw informed him that he had been admitted into the university.

That good news only solidified an already-decisive victory for Stanford over Alabama on the recruiting trail. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Taboada made his pledge to The Farm in late October. Depending on the decision of recruit Durham Smythe, he's excited to work with a tight end class that may end up being four commits strong.
