Siale Hautau (pronounced see-ALL-a HOW-tau) is built low to the ground at 6-0, 315-pounds. He registered 20 tackles, including seven tackles-for-loss and three sacks in seven games in 2012. Hautau took a two-year LDS Mission to Guatemala prior to his arrival at Snow.
"Siale will have an immediate opportunity to impact our team with the losses of Castro Masaniai and Andrew Seumalo," Riley said.
Hautau is a native of Salt Lake City, graduating from Skyline High where he was a 5A First Team All-State selection as a senior.
Hautau is the second player to sign with Oregon State during the mid-year transfer signing period for junior college players, joining Steven Nelson, a cornerback from College of the Sequoias.
