For the second straight week, a Pac-12 coach was fired.
But this time, it came as somewhat of a surprise.
Colorado fired Jon Embree after just two seasons in Boulder, although they were two of the worst seasons in Buff history, a combined 4-20 in the two years.
So far, Colorado commits are taking a wait and see approach.
Covina (Calif.) Charter Oak receiver Bryce Bobo will definitely watch what happens with the Buffs.
"Well, it doesn't really change how I feel about Colorado," said Bobo. "I'm still committed. I'm going to just wait and see who they pull in as the head coach and determine my place from there."
Orange (Calif.) Lutheran offensive lineman Colin Sutton was disappointed to see Embree be fired.
"It pains me to see Coach Embree go," said Sutton. "He was a man of great character. I am still committed to Colorado. I hope the new coach sees what a great player and person I am. No matter what, I'm a Buff."
The Buffs have 14 commitments in the class of 2013, 10 of them from the West..
