Senior Photo Essay: 13 Cougs bidding farewell

FOR 13 WASHINGTON State seniors, today's Apple Cup is more than a rivalry game. It's their final game in crimson. Most names are familiar, some not. One ranks among the great Cougar defenders of the last dozen years. And all had a hand in pouring the foundation for a better future in WSU football.

Photos of all 13 of those seniors appear in this gallery. But if you're counting, you'll see that 15 players are shown.

That's because two guys who looked to have a huge impact on the program -- Cory Mackay and LeAndre Daniels -- have been added. Were it not for serious injuries, both of them would be fifth-year seniors on this 2012 Cougar team.
