RB Tyler Gaffney

Though Stanford didn't run any Wildcat plays against Notre Dame, Tyler Gaffney still figured prominently in the Cardinal offense. The junior halfback, a member of the rotation behind Stepfan Taylor, had six carries for 30 yards and two catches for 17 yards.

Most of Gaffney's impact came on the game's second drive, where he touched the ball four times en route to Stanford's first touchdown of the game.
